A Little About Me & My Art

My name is Aviram. I am 38 years old, born and raised in Israel.

Growing up in Israel, as some of you may know, can sometimes feel like growing up in ancient Egypt, straight out of the old stories. A story in which we are the slaves, and somewhere above us sits Pharaoh, giving orders and deciding how much suffering we must endure.

As a child, I remember that the things that truly healed me and helped me grow were creation, nature, and love for the universe. They were my escape, my shelter, and my source of inspiration.

I always felt like a combination of Mowgli and Peter Pan — an eternal child, carrying an endless love for animals and an unconditional curiosity about the world.

I also developed a deep affection for beauty, aesthetics, and design, inspired by music arriving from distant lands and cultures. Over time, all these influences found their way into my art.

My work is a meeting point of different styles, cultures, materials, and worlds. I don't believe in belonging to just one artistic language. I love mixing influences, experimenting, and allowing unexpected things to come together.

I try to paint the way a chef cooks — mixing ingredients, flavors, cultures, and emotions, trusting intuition and never being afraid to experiment.

But above everything else, there is one thing that matters most to me: FREEDOM.

Freedom is both my message and my philosophy. A reminder to myself and to anyone who feels trapped, restricted, or lost, that freedom and love already exist within us.

Never stop searching for them. Never let the world take them away from you.

And above all, never give up.
